I’m a busy mom in my early 40s raising two energetic kids with ADHD. For years, I balanced motherhood with a mentally draining 9-to-5 job in health insurance while carrying the financial weight of my household.
Even after delivering groceries on nights and weekends, I still struggled to make it from one paycheck to the next. Bills fell behind, my bank account stayed overdrawn, and I often had to say no to movies, birthday parties, and simple family experiences because we couldn’t afford them.
My breaking point came when my card was declined at the zoo, and I had to walk my children back to the car. When my five-year-old asked if we would be poor forever, I knew something had to change.
Not long after, I discovered a woman on TikTok sharing a story that felt incredibly similar to mine. I watched quietly for weeks, afraid it might be too good to be true. When I finally decided to take a chance, I had no experience, very little time, less than 1,000 followers, and plenty of fear—but I also had a powerful reason to begin.
Embrace the Space gave me the tools, guidance, and confidence to start building something of my own. What stood out most was that it wasn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. It gave me the freedom to learn, grow, and create a path that fit my life.
Today, I share my journey to remind other overwhelmed moms and women that they don’t have to have everything figured out before they begin.
Sometimes, the first step is simply deciding that you and your family deserve more—and believing that change is possible.
